About the Role:
Lead a team of store staff to achieve sales targets and maintain store success in this critical role. Motivate and mentor a diverse team within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive store performance by achieving daily, weekly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide excellent customer service, coaching staff to meet high standards.
- Monitor and review store performance, identifying and addressing challenges proactively.
- Manage store operations, including opening/closing procedures, security, and stock inventory.
- Prepare and implement staff rotas.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor staff members, fostering a high-performing team.
- Implement strategies to minimize stock loss and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in store management, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of sales, customer service, profit and loss (P&L), and KPI metrics.
- Proficiency in managing stock inventory and minimizing loss.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
