About the Role:
Morrison Energy Services is seeking a dedicated Stores Person to manage materials on an Electrical Transmission contract across UK sites. Reporting to the Lead Material Controller, this role is crucial for maintaining a clean and organized yard while ensuring accurate and timely goods handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely collection and delivery of goods.
- Control all materials in and out of the main site yard and other locations, including unloading/loading deliveries.
- Assist in preparing site tower fittings.
- Deliver materials to various site locations.
- Control lifting equipment, including quarantine procedures.
- Assist in ordering and controlling site plant, equipment, and PPE.
- Ensure correct collection and control of delivery documentation/inspection certificates.
- Maintain a clean and tidy yard.
- Communicate effectively with Line Manager.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform any additional duties as needed to meet business demands and customer needs.
Skills and Expertise:
- Forklift Truck Licence
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Experience with telehandlers
- Experience working in the Construction industry or outdoors
- Experience operating specialist OHL plant and equipment
- (Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential)
