About the Role:
Lead and motivate a team of supermarket staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high operational standards during assigned shifts. Manage tasks, enforce safety protocols, and ensure a smooth workflow within the supermarket environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support staff by assigning tasks and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Provide prompt, professional customer service.
- Manage stock levels, check deliveries, and maintain well-stocked shelves and displays.
- Handle customer queries and issues efficiently.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Participate in team duties and step up as shift leader when assigned.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor (preferred, but not essential).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, especially in handling food orders.
- Committed to high-quality customer service.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
