About the Role:
Become a valued Support Worker in Bury St Edmunds, providing comprehensive care and support to individuals with learning disabilities. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Support individuals with social activities, outings, and community engagement.
- Ensure the health and safety of individuals in a domestic and social environment.
- Develop and implement individual support plans in accordance with agreed needs.
- Document and report on individual progress and needs.
- Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Skills and Expertise:
- Empathy and patience are essential, along with a positive attitude.
- Experience with individuals with learning disabilities (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and work in a supportive role.
- Commitment to upholding safeguarding standards.
