About the Role:
Mencap is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join their team in Corby. As a Support Worker, you’ll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, providing support and assistance with daily activities and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting individuals with daily activities.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with individuals and their families.
- Working collaboratively with other support staff.
- Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Skills and Expertise:
- Genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with individuals with learning disabilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Empathy and understanding of individual needs.
