About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide exceptional care to individuals with learning disabilities, complex health needs, physical disabilities, or autism at our Long Eaton Day Services. This role plays a vital part in enhancing the lives of those we support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver enhanced care with a flexible and individualized approach.
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
- Understand individual needs and deliver appropriate support.
- Assist with medical and welfare needs.
- Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment.
Skills and Expertise:
- Passion for delivering outstanding care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and understanding of diverse needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with learning disabilities and/or associated support (preferred).
- Enhanced DBS check required.
