Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
  • Medication administration (if required)
  • Supporting with preparing and cooking meals
  • Supporting with attending medical appointments
  • Supporting with social activities
  • Supporting with independent skills development
  • Supporting with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
  • Staying current with training requirements

Skills and Expertise:

  • Caring, fun, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in social care (preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to complete quality support records
  • Ability to work every other weekend
  • Ability to work between 7am and 10:30pm
  • Proficiency in following Support Plans and Risk Assessments
  • Literacy and numeracy in English
  • Commitment to achieving the Care Certificate
