About the Role:
Voyage Care is seeking passionate and caring Support Workers to enhance the quality of life for individuals in our St Albans residential service. This role provides vital support and promotes independence in daily living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting individuals with personal care and daily routines.
- Encouraging independence and skill development.
- Facilitating participation in activities and social interactions.
- Supporting individuals to access local communities.
- Working within a dynamic team to provide comprehensive support.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with diverse needs (preferred, but not essential).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Valid DBS check.
- Flexible approach to shift patterns (7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm).
