About the Role:

Join Quarriers, a dedicated support team in Greenock, Inverclyde, providing part-time, permanent support to adults with physical or learning disabilities at Westview Care Home and The Coach House. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive environment where individuals can live full and happy lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and community-based support to residents.
  • Identify and respond effectively to emotional support needs.
  • Maintain detailed care planning records.
  • Work across both Westview Care Home and The Coach House, as required.
  • Work flexible shifts, including early, late, weekend, and sleepover shifts (paid at 12.00 per hour).

Skills and Expertise:

  • Compassionate and understanding approach to care.
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to document care.
  • Experience with adults with disabilities (preferred).
  • Problem-solving skills to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Confident working with individuals on a one-to-one basis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Motivation and enthusiasm.
