About the Role:
Join our dedicated team in Kettering as a passionate Support Worker. This role offers flexibility to work various shifts, supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live more independently and comfortably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals in living independently, including budget management, bill paying, household tasks, appointment scheduling, and meal preparation.
- Build positive relationships and promote understanding of the world around them.
- Facilitate community engagement and social inclusion by supporting participation in local events and activities.
- Provide personal care, which may include assistance with medication, bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven ability to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep-ins, and waking nights.
- Positive mindset and a desire to improve the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
- Quick thinking and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
