About the Role:
Join our dedicated team in Pocklington as a Support Worker, providing vital support to individuals in the community. This permanent position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we support, promoting independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals to live independently, managing budgets, household tasks, appointments, and meal preparation.
- Build positive relationships and foster excellent communication with service users.
- Promote community engagement by supporting individuals to participate in local activities.
- Provide personal care assistance as needed (may not include all roles).
- Drive service mobility vehicles (if required).
Skills and Expertise:
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience or willingness to learn and support personal care.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with service users.
- Understanding of individual needs and support requirements.
