About the Role:
Enhance the lives of individuals in Taunton by providing hands-on support and assistance with daily routines, personal care, and activities. Work as part of a supportive team to foster independence and growth in our residential service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care and daily routines.
- Supporting individuals with activities to enhance their independence.
- Completing regular checks and monitoring individual well-being.
- Participating in team discussions and care planning.
- Completing light domestic duties.
- Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience working with individuals with profound learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or complex health issues.
- Proven ability to support individuals in their personal growth and independence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilience, flexibility, and a compassionate approach.
- Full UK driving license (preferred).
- Understanding of relevant safeguarding procedures.
