About the Role:
We are seeking a temporary Teaching Assistant to support children in mainstream classrooms in Greater Manchester. This role will focus on the inclusion of all children and support students with EHC plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with differing needs in mainstream classrooms.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery.
- Provide individualized support to children with EHC plans.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement learning strategies.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
Skills and Expertise:
- Level 2 qualifications.
- Proven experience in an educational setting.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
- Knowledge of phonics teaching.
- Experience supporting children with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Part-time position (25 hours per week).
- Salary: 24,404 – 25,183 per annum.
- Start date: 24th February 2025.
