About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our students in Hampshire. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing student literacy and numeracy skills, providing personalized support and contributing to the overall learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individual students with literacy and numeracy.
- Plan and execute 1:1 or small group interventions.
- Support students in class activities.
- Assist with exam preparation and support.
- Work with children displaying challenging behaviour or learning difficulties (experience preferred, training provided).
- Collaborate with staff to create a positive learning environment for all students.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience working with children (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Understanding of child development principles.
- Knowledge of literacy and numeracy methods (preferred).
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding children.
