About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties, potentially with associated autism, at our Outstanding primary and secondary schools in Shepperton. This role offers a vital contribution to the educational and care needs of our students. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the educational and care needs of students.
  • Implement learning techniques to support students, such as Zones of Regulation and Intensive Interaction.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience working with students with special needs (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Passion for education and dedication to creating positive outcomes for students.
  • Proficiency in implementing appropriate learning techniques.

Job Facilities/Benefits:

  • Salary: 17,087 – 17,396 (pro rata) / 23,576 (FTE).
  • Contract: 1 year fixed term, Monday-Friday, 08.50am-15.20pm (30 hrs 20 mins per week) term time.
