About the Role:
The Perfume Shop is seeking a passionate and supportive Team Leader to play a vital role in the daily operations of our Newport store. You will motivate and guide your team to achieve key performance targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor staff to ensure their success.
- Motivate the team to exceed store and team targets.
- Support the Store Manager with rosters, payroll, budget management, stock control, and store procedures.
- Assume store management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Maintain store security and adherence to opening and closing procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure team members consistently provide high quality customer experience.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience leading teams in a retail setting (or strong sales experience with a desire for leadership).
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, including stock management and customer service.
- Passion for perfume and beauty industry.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility with work patterns.
