About the Role:
Nightingale Nursing & Care Home, part of Jasmine Healthcare, seeks a passionate and experienced Team Leader to lead a dedicated team providing high-quality care to residents. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of elderly care recipients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
- Provide personal care and support with daily activities.
- Administer medication according to established procedures.
- Promote resident choice, dignity, and independence.
- Ensure accurate shift handovers and communication.
Skills and Expertise:
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse, NVQ Level 3).
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a residential/nursing home setting.
- Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- Leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Full UK driving license.
- Satisfactory Care Character Assessment.
- Understanding of vulnerable adult safeguarding procedures.
