About the Role:

Join a leading UK facilities management company as a Technical & Compliance Engineer in Weybridge. This vital role is focused on maximizing facility uptime and reliability for R&D clients, integrating engineering support into site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate facilities engineering support within site operations to maximize facility ‘up-time’ and reliability for the R&D customers.
  • Support investigations and root cause analysis into engineering related issues or failures.
  • Conduct site gap analyses versus clients’ combined EHS & Engineering standards.
  • Assist in co-authoring and reviewing Work instructions & Standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
  • Support audit readiness at facilities for internal and external audits.
  • Participate in audit preparedness activities and build audit capability.
  • Support capital project identification and execution (over 30k).
  • Act as a technical stakeholder to service provider project management teams.
  • Monitor and contribute to infrastructure life cycle asset management.
  • Participate in identifying sustainability initiatives and projects.
  • Become proficient with clients’ computer systems for document, maintenance, and EHS reporting.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn and develop engineering skills.
  • Experience with the Research & Development process in GXP/regulated facilities.
  • 5+ years’ professional experience managing complex facilities (including GxP environments).
  • Prior experience in engineering/facilities project management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and accountability.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis tools like 5 Whys and Fishbones.

Job Facilities/Benefits:

Competitive salary of 60,000 per annum (DOE), 6 months fixed term contract
