About the Role:
Join a leading UK facilities management company as a Technical & Compliance Engineer in Weybridge. This vital role is focused on maximizing facility uptime and reliability for R&D clients, integrating engineering support into site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate facilities engineering support within site operations to maximize facility ‘up-time’ and reliability for the R&D customers.
- Support investigations and root cause analysis into engineering related issues or failures.
- Conduct site gap analyses versus clients’ combined EHS & Engineering standards.
- Assist in co-authoring and reviewing Work instructions & Standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Support audit readiness at facilities for internal and external audits.
- Participate in audit preparedness activities and build audit capability.
- Support capital project identification and execution (over 30k).
- Act as a technical stakeholder to service provider project management teams.
- Monitor and contribute to infrastructure life cycle asset management.
- Participate in identifying sustainability initiatives and projects.
- Become proficient with clients’ computer systems for document, maintenance, and EHS reporting.
Skills and Expertise:
- Degree in Engineering
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and develop engineering skills.
- Experience with the Research & Development process in GXP/regulated facilities.
- 5+ years’ professional experience managing complex facilities (including GxP environments).
- Prior experience in engineering/facilities project management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and accountability.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis tools like 5 Whys and Fishbones.
