About the Role:
Absolute Interpreting & Translations is seeking professional Face-to-Face Tetum Interpreters for diverse projects across London. Interpreters will engage communities and bridge language barriers in various settings like hospitals, councils, schools, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, high-quality, impartial, and confidential interpreting services.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders effectively, interpreting information between different languages.
- Follow relevant professional codes of conduct and best practices in interpreting.
Skills and Expertise:
- Fluency in Tetum and English.
- Proven experience as a Face-to-Face interpreter.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant interpreting standards and guidelines.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivities.
