About the Role:

Jewson Inverness is seeking a dedicated Trade Counter Sales Assistant to play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the branch. This vital position requires strong customer interaction skills and a commitment to accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with customers face-to-face at the counter.
  • Preparing customer orders accurately.
  • Managing customer calls, emails, and inquiries.
  • Checking incoming deliveries and reporting discrepancies.
  • Maintaining warehouse stock levels.
  • Conducting regular stock counts.
  • Prioritizing health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify process improvements.
  • Supporting deliveries to client sites as needed.

Skills and Expertise:

  • 1+ years of Trade Counter Sales experience in building materials supply.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and prioritization abilities.
  • Health and safety awareness.
