About the Role:
As a Turnaround Care Home Manager, you’ll lead the improvement of underperforming care homes in HC One’s portfolio, focusing on resident wellbeing and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills to drive positive change within care homes, including those without current managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a clear vision and values for each care home.
- Ensure care teams understand targets and regulatory compliance.
- Address specific deficits within underperforming homes.
- Prioritize resident wellbeing in all aspects of home management.
- Manage and motivate care teams to achieve performance goals.
Skills and Expertise:
- Registered Nurse with a valid PIN number.
- Registered Managers Award Level 4 or equivalent leadership qualification.
- Proven leadership experience in a care home setting for vulnerable adults.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults, including recognizing and reporting potential abuse.
