About the Role:
The Intensive Care Unit at Maidstone Hospital seeks a dedicated Unit Administrator to provide comprehensive clerical, secretarial, and administrative support, primarily interacting with relatives and hospital visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent administrative support to the Intensive Care Unit.
- Manage incoming calls and communications.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Support relatives and visitors, demonstrating empathy and exceptional communication skills.
- Liaise with diverse health professionals and hospital departments.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using computer applications and relevant IT systems.
- Adaptability and reliability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a healthcare or similar administrative setting is advantageous.
