About the Role:
This exciting opportunity for a qualified vehicle technician allows you to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles in a busy main dealership setting. A strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic tools is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical).
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections).
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software for complex issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Communicate vehicle issues and repair recommendations to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stay updated with latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technician.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
- MOT licence (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
