About the Role:
Purovets is seeking a highly skilled Certificate Holder Veterinary Surgeon to join their purpose-built, vet-owned small animal practice in Hertfordshire. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional veterinary care to small animals.
- Perform diagnostics, surgery, and internal medicine procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
- Manage and maintain patient records and treatment plans.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety within the practice environment.
- Participate in and contribute to the practice’s overall daily operations and goals.
Skills and Expertise:
- RCVS registration and Certificate Holder status
- Experience in internal medicine, surgery, or ophthalmology (preferred, but not essential)
- Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills
- Proficient in using advanced diagnostic tools (ultrasound, digital DR X-ray, in-house lab)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a close-knit team
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to 80,000 DOE
- 4 days a week, 9 hours a day
