About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic team in a newly refurbished 24-hour small animal practice in Leicester. This role requires strong diagnostic and treatment skills, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions in small animals.
  • Perform surgical procedures with precision and skill.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Work effectively as part of a team with experienced colleagues and efficient practice support staff.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment (e.g., digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound) for enhanced patient care.
  • Adhere to veterinary regulations and professional standards.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Registered Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS accreditation)
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment skills for small animals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using veterinary equipment and software
  • Experience with certificate of sponsorship procedures (preferred)
  • Experience in a 24/7 practice environment (beneficial)
