About the Role:

Absolute Interpreting & Translations is seeking professional Vietnamese interpreters in Hertfordshire to work with hospitals, councils, schools, and other organizations. This role bridges language barriers by providing face-to-face and remote interpreting services to improve communication for diverse communities. This part-time or full-time position is suitable for skilled interpreters seeking opportunities to work with various clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional, high-quality, impartial, and confidential interpreting services.
  • Engage with diverse clients, including patients, end-users, and service providers.
  • Provide face-to-face and remote (telephone/video) interpreting services.
  • Interpret for a range of clients in the public and private sectors.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience as a Vietnamese interpreter.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English.
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances relevant to interpreting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and impartiality.
