About the Role:
Our client, a successful automotive dealership in Weston-Super-Mare, is seeking a highly motivated Workshop Controller to join their busy service department. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth workshop operations, excellent customer service, and adherence to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate work effectively to technicians within the workshop.
- Ensure all workshop administration is completed to a high standard.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor the team of vehicle technicians.
- Comply with and enforce health and safety regulations within the workshop.
Skills and Expertise:
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or similar role in an automotive workshop.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Full and valid UK driving licence.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to 36,000 with OTE 42,000.
- Potential uncapped annual bonus of 6,000+.
- Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8:30am-1:00pm.
