About the Role:
Premier Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Wraparound Care Manager to lead and grow our services at Merchant Taylors Prep School. This role involves overseeing the daily operations and ensuring high standards of care for children in before and after-school programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support staff, ensuring compliance and effective task management.
- Provide ongoing leadership and in-house training to maintain high care standards.
- Conduct and lead meetings to discuss reports, new topics, and policies.
- Promote staff development through regular one-on-one sessions, ensuring staff safety and well-being.
- Seek new business opportunities to expand Wraparound Care services.
- Improve the overall delivery of Wraparound Care service within the school.
- Strategically plan and ensure financial KPIs are met related to business objectives.
- Ensure all venues comply with Ofsted regulations and standards.
- Liaise with Senior Leadership Teams and Governing Bodies regarding new provisions and implementation.
- Facilitate good communication with all members of the organization, parents, schools, and childcare/play agencies.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within childcare or a similar environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Proven experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Competent use of IT for administrative purposes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- (Desirable) Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- (Desirable) Food Hygiene Certificate.
- (Desirable) Level 2 (or above) qualification in Child Care or a related field.
