About the Role:
Are you a Year 4 Primary Class Teacher seeking a permanent role in Tower Hamlets? Hays is seeking a highly motivated and experienced teacher to join a thriving primary school in London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Plan and implement engaging learning activities to support student development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas for support and enrichment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policy.
- Collaborate with parents and other staff to ensure holistic student support.
Skills and Expertise:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant undergraduate degree.
- Proven experience teaching KS2.
- Excellent understanding of child development and learning theories.
- Strong subject knowledge of the core National Curriculum.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of equal opportunities and inclusion.
- Valid Right to work in the UK.
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
